Shoe help

I posted this on 08' and nothing yet so I'm hoping to find someone that can help here.

I'm looking for platform satin/dyeable shoes & I was going to order them online but decided to try My Glass Slipper in the city first.

I had a feeling I should try shoes on before I ordered them and I'm glad I did. I have small feet (5 1/2) and because they're so high my foot tends to move forward and they flip off my feet. Even w/ the gels at the ball of my feet. I definitely need an ankle strap.

I'm live in Brooklyn and would like to try anywhere in LI, the city or locally this weekend. Although I'm getting married there, I'm not too familiar w/ LI & use you lovely ladies on this site to help me.

Please let me know if any of you have come across a store that may carry a large variety of styles.
