Shoe help

Now I know some of you ladies can help me on this one-- I have to find shoes for a bridesmaids dress
We are all wearing the same skirt but different tops-

we were thinking some sort of silver shoe( they dont have to be the same shoe so ideally I need one maker with a few of the same color)
Here is the color--

This is the color and bottom of the dress that we are wearing
Can anyone help? or at least point me in the right direction?
Thanks

Re: Shoe help

I am not sure that silver would look right with that shoe.

What is the name of the color of the dress.

Re: Shoe help

honestly I'd do beige, pewter or black. I don't think silver would work with that color

It is really hard to tell in the picture but it is honeydew melon and has a slight shimmer to it-
the pic makes it look really light but in person it looks like a light celadon

Re: Shoe help

I'd still do a strappy black sandal

Re: Shoe help

I probably wouldn't do silver either....
If you were going for the metallic look, I would opt for a goldish color....

black is tricky b/c if it's very fine straps and not much to the shoe, it'll be ok....otherwise the black would be too overpowering for the light color of the dress

Re: Shoe help

Are you opposed to having them dyed to match? Otherwise, I think silver sandals would probably work.

Re: Shoe help

ok thanks for the help-- the entire BP decided on silver ubtwhat I need the help with is finding the shoes-- we thought about dying but the Bride wants us to be able to wear them again!!!! so ideally we want to find a line that is in a silver color that has a few heel options, etc
Anyone
PLEASE help--just found out the Bride has phnemonia so finding a shoe would really make her feel a little better--one less thing to cross off her list

Have you ever seen those 'clear' lucite shoes with silver accents (Saugus makes many styles) - they would be nice with the dress, I think.

Re: Shoe help

Why not get dyeables to match, and dye them black after the wedding?
