shoe mistake? HELP

shoe mistake? HELP

okay so I have been looking for nice affordable shoes for two months -finally found these bought them at a store (final sale) bring them home and my mother tells me why would I wear open toe shoes with my dress and in the middle of Nov.

I didn't think It was a big deal since my dress is long and who is going to see my shoes but she think it's to casual for the dress.

I don't have a pic of the dress but it's an A-LINE gown, coreset top.

do you think open toes are to casual?

i dont like pumps - so i only wear open toe shoes. . .i will for my wedding but i also do that for other events that i go to in the winter. . .it may be a faux pas but i really really really hate all pumps!

I am wearing open toe in Oct. I have seen MANY women wear open toe to fancy events in winter! I think it is fine!

I think that you can and should wear whatever you want. With that being said, I do understand what your mom is saying.

I would not wear open toe only b/c then you have to figure out stocking/ thigh highs/nothing issue. I like pumps so I would go that way BUT it is your wedding and your feet. Do whatever makes you happy.

I bet no one points at you and says 'can you believe those shoes'. They will be saying how beautiful you are pumps, open toe, chinese slippers, flip flops.... no matter what.
