shoe opinions needed

i need to find my shoes asap because they need the exact shoes to do my hollow to hem measurements

thats what i said ...i was like i have shoes with me now...its not the exact day of shoe but thats the heel height but the lady said no bring in the exact shoe.

Is it because they want to make sure that the dress and shoe match? I dont understand why they would want the exact shoe if not for that reason???

she made it seem like it was more about getting accurate measurements. maybe she was afraid that if I hadn't actually picked out my shoe i may change my mind as far as heel height...I'm not too sure what that was about.

They told me that too, but I still brought in a shoe the same size and said just do it...they did!
