My ceremony is planned for outdoors on grass lawn, do you think the heel of this shoes will be thick enough so that I won't sink into the grass???
I really like the look of this shoe.

What I do know is that the shoe is gorgeous !!!!!!
The heel looks OK, when you're in the front during the ceremony will you be standing on some kind of runner or the grass the entire time?

You might sink into the grass a bit, but they are very nice shoes. I think you will be okay. I don't like chunky heels so I would deal with whatever sinkage I may encounter before getting a fat heel.

Those are beautiful shoes!! I do think you would sink in the grass HOWEVER I was at an outside wedding last year and there was a runner down so the bride didn't sink. Are you have one?

Thrilled: I found them on shoebuy.com. Bloomingdales and Macy's also carries this brand of shoe.
I heard that having a runner on grass was a bad idea. I would assume you would need to get a pretty thick material so that a heel won't sink. And how would you attach a runner on grass - with spikes?? Any thoughts on this.

I don't think so, unless the ground is really hard
but they are beautiful shoes

Most likely will stick especially with the extra weight of the gown. I'm getting married outside and the runner is thick enough to prevent this, I asked them, I was concerned I would fall.

I had a very similiar shoe and it was pretty comfortable (shocking)...all shoes are going to sink in the grass if its soggy enough...might as well sink looking good right?

Re: Shoe - opinions, please
i was in my BM's wedding a couple of summers ago - wore shoes with a thicker heel & we still sunk....
but what the hay! you aren't going to be noticing the heels too much, just stay on the balls of your feet more. that's what i did, and it helped.
