For those of you that will be changing out of your heels for something a little more comfortable, do you think its a bad idea to change into satin type slippers (think bridal isotoners) in case someone steps on you while dancing or whatever? I've had this happen to me before at a wedding with regular shoes on and it killllllled. Should I go for more of a ballet flat type shoe with more structure to it to change into? Or am I just being ridiculous and no one is going to step on me?? I just wanna be super comfortable once I ditch the heels, and flats do not always equal comfort. But isotoners sure do!

Re: Shoe question
I was planning on changing in the same type of slippers. The thought didnt cross my mind about someone stepping on my foot. Now, I am rethinking it...

Re: Shoe question
if you're the bride though, you would think people would be a little more careful about shoving into you while dancing and stepping on your feet!!

Re: Shoe question
We would hope that no one is going to step on you at your own wedding but (esp. if there are kids) it could happen...I think Isotoners are a great idea. I am rethinking my flip flop idea because it hurts when someone steps on your bare toes too!!!

Re: Shoe question
i stayed in my heels most of the night. Only after VH did i put on ballet flats but honestly that became more of a problem bc when you get alterations the bottom of the dress is altered according to the size of your heels so this way it falls perfectly at the bottom, once i put ballet flats i kept stepping on my dress

Re: Shoe question
No one stepped on my feet at all.
The only thing to consider when changing from heels to flats is that your dress will become too long and you will have to hold the front of it every time you walk or dance.
I didn't put my flats on until the very end of the reception, and it was such a pain to have to hold the front of my dress.

wow i never even thought of those problems. I was DEF going to change into isotoners for the comfort, but i dont wanna be holding up my dress. Such decisions!
