Are u guys switching shoes after the reception starts? I was thinking about switching into slippers but my dress will be tailored to my 4 inch heels..i may do it any way tho..

I don't think I'll switch my shoes. I love the look of my dress when I'm in heels.

I am switching my shoes. I have heels about 3 inches and then after the first dance, I am going to switch into personalized converses. You can design them online so I made them white with accents of purple and they will have Mrs. --- on the back!

I definitely am...I'm wearing huge heels for the ceremony..and changing into custom converse for the reception...i told the dress shop that I'm going to be doing this and tey said theyll hem the dress somewhere.in the middle to accomodate both shoes as best they could
One thing the person i was working wth at the dress shop told me was to have my tall shoes (along with FH's suit jacket) available to switch into to take the formal pics that happen later on in the night, like cake cutting.. which i thought was good advice

I am. I am going to be wearing blue converse as will all the brides maids. I wanted something a lil fun and different. IDK what shoe i will wear for the actual wedding yet though lol

I will definitely be changing from my heels to my lovely satin ballerina slippers at some point in the reception..just not sure when. My heels are only 2 1/2 inches so i'm not too concerned with the dress dragging around. Love my shoes but will definitely be more concerned with comfort at some point!

I will def have a back up just in case I want to take my heels off. I was looking around last night and saw sandals that are wedges that are similar to the height of heels and thought they would be perfect for that reason.

oo sounds fantastic! I think ill look around for some wedges too. I'm wearing platforms but i dont usually wear heels so i hope to survive a couple hours!

I am actually switching from traditional ivory shoes for the church ceremony to black shoes to match my brides maids dresses.
