Shoes!!

Hi Ladies;

I FINALLY!! got my fabric sample swatch! My dress is ivory silk... so I was a little stuck without a swatch - anywho - can anyone suggest a store with a LARGE selection of shoes? I really want them to be ivory, not dyed. I'm not sure if it'll be hard to find something in the right color.

Thanks!!

I went to Hazel's House of Shoes on Bell Blvd. in Bayside - they had a whole wall of wedding shoes.

Hazels House of Shoes!!! I was walking out of the Jackson Hole across the street and I saw it! It looks crapy but they had the best selection. They had the shoe in my size and I walked out with it in my hands. Other places I went to had a good selection but nothing in my size (which is average) and they would have to be ordered special. The price was great and the service was good too.

It's a Demetrios - sort of Victorian - the pic doesn't pick up the details.. (actually I Hate this picture.. but I Love the dress)! I'll try to attach it - let's see if it works! It was something that I tried on for the heck of it, and then went back to my list, then tried it on again - and again.. and well, you know how it goes!

That store in Bayside sounds great but it's in Bayside! I'm in Port Jeff... feeling a little lazy for Bayside! The Patchogue thing sounds like a plan... I had forgotten all the nice shops that are there.

Thanks!!

Are you sure you would mind getting them dyed? I had a great experience at the Shoe Boutique in Babylon Village; they will dye any dyeable to any shade of white, ivory, or whatever that you need. They had Saugus shoes (which mine are), Coloriffics and Touch-ups, as well as lots of other shoes. I can't remember if I saw any that were already ivory.
