SHOES

SO I WANNA KNOW WHERE YOU GUYS GOT YOUR SHOES? I WANT TO WEAR FLIP FLOPS AND MY MOM IS FREAKING OUT. SO I TOLD HER I WILL WEAR 'REAL' SHOES FOR THE CEREMONY AND THEN I AM CHANGING THEM!

I actually bought mine online at www.shoebuy.com

They have a good selection, and they are true to their size.

They have some flip flops and thong style sandles as well!

I bought mine at MJM Shoes. They weren't 'traditional' bridal shoes. I wore silver peep toe shoes.

I second that. If you go somehwere and find shoes you like, write down the name. I went all over the internet for the same shoes.

Shoebuy was 15 cheaper and they have free shipping, no tax, free returns and reviews on shoes!

Good Luck!

Re: SHOES

I think I'm going to buy these to wear before the wedding (we'll be walking around to take pics) and then possibly put on during the reception....

Think your mom will go for these? They're flip flops but could totally pass off as REAL sandals!

I got my wedding shoes at DSW in Carle Place (Westbury). They have a section for wedding shoes.

Shoe Elegance in Lynbrook. Its on Sunrise Highway across from the Lynbrook Bridal Center. They have the cheapest prices on LI and the largest selection. If your whole bridal party goes there they give you 10% off each pair. Plus the dyeing is custom, not off a chart. I highly recommend them.

Re: SHOES

So far I have a pair of Caparros that I ordered directly from them.
I might try Rhea Nichols to see if I can get a nice pair of gold shoes.
My problem is that I need a lower heel. FH and I are the same height.

I'm not a big fan of flip fflops, especially with dresses. How about ballet slippers ? I have a pair of gold ballet slippers that I may change into.

Re: SHOES

I ordered from zappos.com, ordered a bunch of shoes and returned the ones I didn't like (returns and shipping are free, no tax). I love them because the heel is low. I also think they are way cuter in person than in this pic.

Re: SHOES

I browsed shoes on myglassslipper.com and then tried them on in a few stores that carried the ones I liked and ordered online. It was so much cheaper that way!
