Okay so i found a dress and it requires 'hollow to hem' so that means i have to buy shoes right?!?!?! any suggestions on where to go for fancy looking ones??

i went to DSW and bought a 3 inch heel.
U never want to be more than 3 inches on your wedding day in heels
I would do that!!! (u dont have to buy your shoes yet but buy shoes the hight in which you want to wear...

i really wanted to walk down the aisle in manolos but ill have to see, im not spending 700, i might swing for a cheaper pair though, lol. i dont even know if i can stuff my fat foot in them, they run very narrow.

they take ur measurements from the hollow of your neck down to the hem line....so it won't have to be altered for length when it comes in.

it's the way the dress is made, specifically for your body ,so they measure you from your collar bone to the floor That is why you need your shoes.

it's the measurement from your hollow (indent by neck/throat/clavicle) to just above floor...basically, the dress is made for your height....

yeah i had to have a hollow to hem done as well. it really was a pain having to find shoes before ordering the dress b/c i felt really rushed (apparantly the dress can take 6-8 mos to come in!). Sandy's shoes in Massapequa had some nice shoes. you can check them out. they also have dyable shoes that if you buy now can be died later on to match your swatch.

i kno i had to get mine too before the dress for the same reason..i just got the ones i liked...and they are white the dress is white so i lucked out.
