First off, congrats to all!!! So I need some feedback about shoes. Here's the deal... I am 5'0 and feel ok in heels. I don't wear them often. My FH is 5'5 so I don't want to be too tall on the big day anyway. How important are the shoes? Do you really see them in pics?? I found a pair that are just ok. Not FAB. I haven't really broken them in yet and I want to be super comfortable at the reception without doing the ballet slipper thing all night. Do I need FAB shoes? How important is it?
Any ideas???

Re: Shoes....
i definitely did not want to spend a lot on shoes and the most important thing to me was comfort. When i went for my first fitting, i realized that my shoes will never be seen! I even tried dancing around and kicking (like how Elaine dances in Seinfeld) and you can't see them. I guess it depends on the dress. Mine isn't that poofy and its A-line. So to me, shoes weren't that important, so go with what you're comfortable with. My MOH who is obsessed with shoes would disagree with me i'm sure

I am wearing a strappy sandal that is very low heel but I got flip flops from old navy and glued on pearls. I want to be comfortable and I don't really care because you probably won't see my shoes except in shoe specific pictures anyway.

Re: Shoes....
Wear shoes that are comfortable for you. You won't be doing much sittting down so get some that will be easy on you.
