Shoes

I'm not big with high heels..in fact I have a problem of even tripping up stairs..

But I was going to go to payless and get a cheap pair of shoes to wear for my wedding. Is that stupid? I really didnt want to waste money on shoes...but my sister said i should go get a nice pair that will be comfortable because i will be wearing them a lot longer than i think.

what do you think?

I dont want to spend a fortune, thats why i was going to payless...

And suggestions on places...I live in west babylon..so don't want to go to far

Your going to be wearing them a long time especially if you're taking pictures before the ceremony. That could be 2-3 hours before ceremony.

Why not try David's bridal, DSW, Craft Shoes in Commack, Luv My Shoes, I'm sure there are plenty of places to go. Even Macys.

I agree too. You will be on them for a very long time, and you are not going to want your feet to hurt. Also try the tanger outlet mall they have a ton of shoe stores that have deals and sales all the time, like nine west that I tend to find to be very comfortable. Or wait for a good deal at macys.

Another idea, my cousin did buy white sneakers and design them with sequins and such to wear all night long. They were cute and you didn't see them in picture. My sister did the same thing with nice slippers for her prom.

I agree also. I dont know if any of you ladies have the same problem as I do, but I just cannot wear payless shoes! My feet start to ache and the shoes cause blisters on the back of my feet. Its horrible! So I would just invest in a more pricier shoe.

Payless shoes aren't he most comfortable. Go with a pair of satin ballet flats. they can be cheap and comfortable.

I really like the sneaker idea too. Its true no one really sees your shoes.

One of my girlfriends lives for Zappos.com
She says they are free shipping both ways, so if something doesn't fit, you can just ship it right back for free! I don't know how their prices are, but I'm with you...I HATE spending lots of money on shoes.
