Re: SHOES
You should check out DSW. I was just in there this past weekend and they have some really beautiful shoes. FYI I ordered my wedding shoes on Nina.com so that's an option too.

Re: SHOES
I dont know where you live- but there is a bridal shoe place on old country road across from where Avis and Thomasvill were. and there are places on Sunrise highway in Rockvills center- one is on a corner with a bunch of shoes in the window. If i remember the name I will let you know.
Does DSW really have satin shoes? I never saw them!

Re: SHOES
Why can't you order your gown without shoes? I was able to. Actually I still don't have shoes and my gown should be in sometime in Sept.
When I ordered my dress they told me to just have them for the first fitting so they know if I need it to be hemmed.

Re: SHOES
What color are you after? White Ivory?
Satin only? Jewelled?
Do you want more of a sandal? Closed toe? D'orsay? Mule?
Need more details!!
How about height? what are you post comfortable in!

Definitely look into DSW. I'm not sure of the look you're going for but the dress may help with that.

Re: SHOES
I found these at David's Bridal...really comfortable. And on sale! They're dyeable too.
You should pick out/order your dress first and then get your shoes (as long as you have your shoes by the first fitting....). You want your shoes to match the style and color of the dress.
If you want a really nice shopping experience with shoes to drool over (albeit not too budget friendly), check out My Glass Slipper in manhattan. There's a few selections around $100, going upward of $560.

Re: SHOES
I went crazy trying to find shoes before I ordered my dress and I didn't even need them!! They only measure your bust, waist to order the dress. I bought mine from endless.com
