shoes!!!
a couple of weeks back i posted about ordering 3 pairs of shoes. i put together a mini review about the experience.
i ordered all 3 pairs from zappos.com. they where delivered as per the tracking information i received on-line. they have a 365 day return policy. yes, you can return the shoes within 365 days of the purchase.
i picked the first pair as my day of shoes because they looked best with my gown & they where extremely comfortable.
the second pair, although beautiful, i wasn't comfortable with the arch of my foot sticking out. due to taking ballet for so many year i have a really big arch & i kept stepping on the side of the shoe. i also decided against this shoes because when the women at the dress store was fitting my gown, she noticed that the shoe was worn. it was disgusting!! the fabric of the shoe was discolored.
the third paid, was somewhat comfortable but the thing around the ankle was kind of annoying. the bow my sister tied at first was really tight & then after just casually walking around the house the bow became really loose. i would have lost my mind the day of having that damn thing re-tied a 100 times. my other issue was that no one would have ever saw the fancy ankle strap so i felt it was a waste.
the girl doing my dress fitting recommended getting a full shoe (like #1). she also said to get them a little bigger, (mine are a 7.5 & i could have gotten a 7) this way in can put in foot petals to make them extra comfy. she also said that she has heard a lot in the past that since you are on your feet the entire day, your feet swell. then you can remove the foot petals & the shoe will fit perfectly.
