Shoes and hemming the dress (Vent)

So I tried on my dress today with a pair of shoes I have worn before to a wedding with FH. I went shopping all day to find shoes that had the same heel as these because they are perfect for the length of my dress. I see pics of us together and the hieght difference looks good. Well I must have been bending down or shoeless when the pics were taken because when he got home I tried on the shoes next to him and we are the same hieght. Im sooooooo pissed. This means I have to get flat shoes which okay no big deal i will be comfy but i now have to get my dress hemmed. This is gonna suck im assuming it ain't cheap!!!!!!!!!! Take a look at my train that

im going to ask maybe they can take it up at the waist that might be easier whatever it takes i guess.

if i wear heels with the viel n everything i will be a little taller. i just really like looking up at him
