Ladies I need your help...my Mom has big feet, partially due to her height, but mostly b/c she had cancer many years ago and had the lymph glands removed from her right leg....which cause her feet to swell really badly.
She is feeling very 'un-Pretty' b/c she cannot find pretty/glitzy shoes...does any one know where I can find really noce shoes in size 11/12??
All she keeps saying is that she is going to look horrible on my wedding day and I really want to lift her spirits!!

Well my mom has average sized feet but they are wide.. so she had a bit of a problem finding comfy ones.
She ended up buying Nina's because they all come in narrow or wide... and im sure they have up to a size 12.

Aww....your mom will be beautiful the day of your wedding. Tell her not to lose hope because there are a lot of tall women out there who need larger shoes and I am sure she will find something pretty.

Believe it or not, I was at Estelle's the other day picking up reception slippers and they carried pretty 10W dyeables - which I, myself, couldn't find anywhere and had to order online. It had never dawned on me to check them out! You might want to check there...if you can't find anything, FM me and I'll check to see if I still have my online shoestore links Good luck!!

i got my shoes at dyeableshoestore.com and they had a large selection of widths in larger sizes. Their delivery is pretty quick. I also have gotten some cute shoes at Avenue over the years - all very comfy. And there is a store in Patchogue called Richard York that is a little hit or miss, but recently got two really cute pairs of strappy heels there.
I know what it's like to have feet issues - story of my life and it stinks! Your mom will be beautiful for sure.

Hi there, I'm an 11W so I feel your Mom's pain. Most places now go up to 11-12. Have you checked David's Bridal, Marmi, Easy Spirit. I actually got mine in a place downtown NYC called Paradise Shoes on Church Street, they have a really nice selection. I have their address at home on the receipt. I'll definitely FM you later with it.
I know for me I like to try shoes on. I would call a couple of places first to make sure they have the kind of shoes that you are looking for. I really luck out downtown brooklyn on Fulton street. Their payless goes to size 13. There's an entire aisle of 11. I got my comfy shoes from there. I saw a place on fulton street, that have my wedding shoes. Unfortunately I don't know the name, but it's across the street from Lucille Roberts.
In queens on Mrytle Ave there's a place called Simons shoes. Tiny store, but they have a great selection. 5703 Mrytle Ave Ridgewood, NY 11385 718-386-5929.
Did you try Zappo's..I think you can search by size there...
My friend has a size 12W foot and she has gotten GREAT shoes from Zappo's. She found the pair of shoes she wore to my wedding on there as well. HTH!

The style Lovely is very comfortable and comes in sizes 6-11 regualar width and 6-12 wide width. The heel is just over 2'.
They have plenty of styles so I'm sure more of them come in large sizes.

I have the same problem. My feet are a size 12. the brand I got my shoes in were Touch ups you can find them online and even get dyeable ones if needed. I ordered them through Pzaz in Centereach but I found them online first. I was having the same issues with feeling unpretty with my big feet but finding these shoes in my size helped. They even carry wide sizes and they are normal shoes not the ugly ones us women with big feet get stuck with.

I was going to suggest this, too. My mom has feet issues...very wide and can never find shoes anywhere. After searching many places, she found a pretty pair at Craft Shoes.
