Okay so ETA ... to my real concern with wedding shoes...
The ceremony will be on grass, I'm so nervous about wearing my 3.5' heels in grass, that I feel like my only option are wedges.
Any experience with this? Suggestions/Ideas/ shoe pics are welcome.
TIA!!

Re: Shoes for outdoor ceremony? (on grass)
Yeah, I can see what you mean. How about something with chunkier heel? See my album, I have a pic of my shoes in there; they have a pretty chunky heel.
Wouldnt you worry about grass stains also?

I was warned by several people to get a second pair of cheap shoes to wear for pics b/c of grass stains. I had never thought of it before but I am def going to be doing it. My DOC said that she has seen it happen more often than not.

I really wanna be barefoot for my ceremony- dont know if you would consider that- but then you can wear your nice shoes in the reception and no worries about grass stains

Oh wow that would so be me, I'm always barefoot! But I don't think some of my guests (and especially relatives) would get it.
and I also want to be somewhat statuesque as I walk, I'm only 5'1' and need a little pickup.
Well I felt a little daring so I deciding to try DIY my shoes with the extra rhinestones designer left in little bags with my dress, and double sided tape
I feel another poll coming on ... But I have to figure out a better design...
For reception we have a proper floor and I plan to change into something like dancing shoes. I love dancing in heels. I think it makes your butt move sexy

Grass might be damp.

I would definitely go with wedges, there are some really pretty ones out there that aren't as chunky as they used be.
