So I am going for my 3rd fitting very soon and still have no shoes. The lady told me I MUST have them the next time, so I went looking this weekend to DSW (found nothing that interested me), Bridal Shoe Boutique (found 2 that were possibilities), and Hazel's (found 1 possibility).
I haven't fallen in love with a shoe yet, so I was wondering if you could recommend a shoe store that I could go to that has A LOT of choices of closed toe wedding shoes.
Shoe stores on the internet won't work for me since I need to see the shoe and try it on.
Please help!!
Thank you.

Re: Shoes - Help!
I feel your pain, I also wanted closed toe shoes, but I also had all the fun of trying to find them with a really low heel, too.
There's a bridal shoe store in Babylon Village, They have quite a few bridal shoes there. I was looking for slippers so I didn't actually notice if they had lots of closed toe shoes, sorry! Is that the one you went to called the shoe boutique?
How about RK Bridal in the city? Or My Glass Slipper, also in the city? There's one in Massapequa, and the one everyone talks about in Commack. Also you could try David's bridal, you don't have to buy your gown there to shop there. I went there to look at veils (didn't buy as they were stupidly expensive for a piece of tulle.) For slightly higher-end shoes, I know that Bridal Reflections carries Fenaroli shoes, who have quite a few pretty closed toe ones. They're lovely shoes. I was going to go look there for the shoe I'm going to put on the bottom, but then I found the shoes I really wanted. I have no idea what heel you want, but check them out. I'm sure Bridal Reflections has other shoes too.
If you don't mind spending quite a bit, I think the most beautiful bridal shoes are Peter Fox shoes. i always wanted to wear them on my wedding day, as long as I've been looking at Martha Stewart Weddings (which is a few years now, *cough*) but then my FH made me promise not to be taller than he on our wedding day and they don't have anything with a low enough heel--they have one, but it's the one shoe I don't like much and they didn't have my size anyway. They dye them free, though, both to match your gown and then whatever color you want after the wedding.
Good luck! Also--if you find Fenaroli shoes that you've tried on and love, check out eBay and see if they have them in your size. There's a LOT on there for much cheaper than list price.
Thank you for all the suggestions received so far.... anyone know of any bridal shoe stores in queens, nassau or western suffolk?

The Bridal Show Boutique I was talking about is the one on Old Country Rd across and down the block from The Source Mall, in a small shopping strip next to DSW.

I believe the one in Babylon is called The Shoe Boutique, although they mostly have bridal and evening shoes. They're on Montauk Highway, in the shopping center with La Bella Palermo restaurant, about a block west of the movie theater.

I'm not sure the name but it's in Patchoque on Main St near Paradise Bridal. They had a cute selection. I would even check out Aldo (found in mall) they had some nice stuff even though they sdon't specialize in bridal shoes. that's where i'm getting my second set. I bought my first set at david's bridal. pics in my album. Good Luck!!!!
