Try a dance shoe store, they tend to have a good selection of dyeables and are extremely comfortable. Try Worldtone on 26th and 7th Avenue.

There are 2 (at least) Stuart Weitzman stores--one in the Time Warner center and one on Madison. I got my shoes from the one on Madison.
