I prefer open, but go with what is the most comfortable for you. What won't give you blisters?

I prefer closed but I think it really depends on your taste. April is fine for open if that is what you like better.

I think it depends on your dress & what you are more comfortable with. I'd personally go w/ open.

Why don't you just buy 2 pairs... one open and one closed... so then you can decided that day after seeing the weather... sometimes its a little brisk in april so you might want to go with closed... see how you feel then

I usually prefer open toe shoes, but I would vote closed toe just because they are usually so much more comfortable!

I find that open toed shoes, when the toes stick out from under the dress, it looks like the bride is barefoot- but they also give you more -wiggle room as your feet expand during the night after all the standing.
Also with open toed you can't really wear stockings... my SIL was worried about that looking silly with her garter.

my day is exactly the same day as yours..and my shoes are closed... I have really wanted closed, I am way to afriad of my toes getting stepped on! LOL..
