I'm desperately trying to finalize my search and selection for a BM dress. I've been back and forth to Bridal Reflections in Massapequa and haven't really found the 'one'. Any other good stores I should check out? TIA
Also...how much is too much? I'm so focused on the prices of my selections that I'm passing right over dresses that are eye candy because of $$$$. What would you girls say is reasonable? I know this can vary but I'm just trying to get some ideas. I don't want to settle and I feel like I am

Re: shopping for BM dresses
i can't help you too much on where to go...I've only been to RK Bridal in the city and Macy's Manhasset, and RK had a really large selection! I've also heard The Wedding Center in Commack has a lot as well.
As far as reasonable BM dresses, it really depends on who's in your bridal party and the relationship you have with them. On the average, I've spent $140-$220 on BM dresses for past weddings, not including alterations...and I thought that was a fair price. Good Luck!

Re: shopping for BM dresses
I would try to keep it around $150 because they will also need alterations, and possibly shoes, if you want them to match.
I've heard that the Wedding Center in Commack has good prices.

Re: shopping for BM dresses
Some bridal stores price match (Bonneventure does) so if you find the dress and then call up like pearls place (www.pearlsplace.com) and they give you a quote the bridal store might match it plus give you 10%..thats what i'm doing LOL
PS. I'm going to Hear Comes the Bridesmaid in Great Neck to try on dresses

I am trying to keep my dresses around 150. I am hoping to find ones we like, and then get them from bridesave!

Re: shopping for BM dresses
I had been to Bridal Reflections, Bridal Suite of Bay Shore and Adrienne's in Islip. I hadn't found anything that seemed like it was 'it'. But yesterday we went to Wedding Plaza in Baldwin. They seemed to have a wide selection of dresses. Bridal Suite did also. They were both very affordable.
