I'm so sorry. What about a simple band and as a 1yr anniversary gift get the matching band? I would look around on the internet. There are a lot of deals to be had Good Luck!

Plain white gold bands will run you about $250 - $300. Platinum about 3 times that amount. Adding diamonds to the front where you can see them is about $300 - $500 on top of that. For bigger diamonds, all they way around (an eternity band), you definitely see over $3000 (less for white gold but not much).

My favorite band I found so far was one from Fortunoff - it's channel set diamonds in white gold (the metal of my E ring) only in the front and it was $550. The saleslady showed me a ton of rings, and of all, that was the most comfortable and looked best with my E ring. And if it was $550 at Fortunoff, it'd be even cheaper in the Diamond District in the City.

FH just got his a few weeks ago so prices are fresh in my mind. A man's 6mm white gold plain band was around $300-$400. He ended up getting a white gold w/ 1/2 car. diamonds that ran $1400 but was on sale!!! After all the discounts, plus sizing and insurance it was only around $650! We were so effin excited!

My 'everyday' bands (one in front and one behind e -ring)are eternity set and around 3/4 carat total weight combined. I think they ran around $800 for both REMEMBER smaller stones = smaller price!! GOTTA LOVE PAVE SETTINGS!!

IMO shop around, price compare and look for sales! Take in large 'chain' flyers to privately owned jewelers and see if they can accomodate you w/ prices! HTH

They are supposed to be great! Turkan Jewelers up at Tri-County is also pretty good, but some of the other Tri County places dont have the same quality.

good luck!

price of gold and platinum is going up constantly so I would get rings ASAP. Ours were more than i would have liked b/c platinum prices skyrocketed.

good luck!
