Cuban cigars for any cigar-lovers in your life. But you will have to hide them, I think.

Louis Vuitton!! Their biggest store is on the Champs Elysees.

The Herve Chapelier store there is great and is so much less expensive - and every color you can imagine - I think i bought 5 bags in my time there! haha.

Go to Fouchon and Hediard for edible goodies to bring back.

Fabulous wine (that costs nothing) in stores there.

And of course - clothes and shoes! Check out Les Galleries Lafayette and Printemps for a dept. store type shopping, and the latin quarter for cool shops and fabulous designer boutiques.

Have a wondeful time!!

I bought some clothes because it was so cold out when we went. I got them from this store called Zara (they have one in roosevelt field too). I also bought two jackets. One of them was really pretty. I would normally not have bought it because it was impractical and pricey, but I figured it was my HM. The only thing that I found to be RELATIVELY inexpensive was silk scarves. I bought them at this amazing store (the same store I got the jacket) on the champse elysees and they were about $30 each. I gave them to a bunch of people. I also bought chocolate for people but that was pricey too.

You'll see....everything is so expensive.

Go to Longchamp, Cartier, and Hermes. Enjoy!!

I think they used to use the franc which was a lot less than the dollar.I think they now use the euro which is a lot more than the dollar, so you probably wont' get the bargains you used to. I loved the clothes there though.

Definately Louis Vuitton!!! I told hubby I want to go to Paris in Oct for my 30th bday and our 2nd anniversary and that is part of the reason.

I wouldn't buy anything that could be found in a store in the states, like LV, etc. (especially if there are no deals to be found), unless it was an item that was limited to Europe for distribution for some reason.

Shop around and look for something unique.

~They have the most beautiful lingerie! Bring back some really good quality & sexy French nighties, bras, & panties.
~I remember getting some really pretty fragrance oils at Gallerie Lafayette.
~Maybe you can find a unique piece of jewelry to remind you of your trip?
~A beret- NOT!

1-Beeswax soap (you wont find anything like it here).

2-Wine - I think you can bring back 2 bottles each.

3-They have market days. Look in any travel book and they will list where & when. You can find really unique things from clothing to home decor. I saw beautiful quilt blankets that were handmade by two young girls. Expensive, but so nice & different.

4-Portraits done by the artists (By the Sec le Cor (sp?)) The old church on the hill that overlooks Paris. We got a portrait done there the last time we went - It's expensive, but worth it. We filmed it while the artist did the drawing, and it was such a good memory for us.

5-Coffee.

6-Shoes!

You can try to bring back Pastries and cheese but I've never had any success doing it. Some of the pastries are so pretty that you'll want to bring back one just to show everyone. lol!

I'm getting SOOOO excited for my trip there too!!!
I'm just going to look and see what I can't get here in the States-- some very unique things. As someone else said, with the Euro the bargains aren't as good as they used to be.

LV is a lot cheaper in Paris even with the poor exchange rate of the dollar
