Hello all ...New Here so i need to get on the ball meeting everyone!
my first question: were having a december wedding... and all the bridesmaids dresses that i like are shorter.
FH says i should pick longer ones because it will be cold and people will think i'm crazy. My bridesmaids don't mind.
so my question is if you went to a wedding and saw the bridesmaids in something like this would you think it was inappropriate or that the bride was a cold heart ed ***** who didn't care if her friends were cold? i would want them to have little jackets or wraps to go over it too.
I don't think short dresses are bad, but I do think that that fabric is a bit summer-y.

Re: short dresses in December?
i think it's cute and no one really pays attention to the weather versus fabric unless you're having a winter theme

i'm guessing you're getting married indoors so i wouldn't worry. i wear short dresses to weddings year round - i don't change based on the weather

Re: short dresses in December?
I just know my bridesmaids could care less and have told me repeatedly that they will freeze in the cold just to take good pictures for my wedding. Whatever dresses you like, go for it!

I love that dress... i would be surprised to see it at a December wedding... but that doesnt mean is inappropriate... thats for you and your BM's do decide....

Re: short dresses in December?
i think short dresses would be fine. i doubt a few inches of fabric is going to make a big difference as to whether or not they'll be cold.... as long the ceremony isnt outsidem lol. but i would get them a jacket/bolera or something anyways.

Re: short dresses in December?
I think it depends. Is your ceremony at the RH or a church? If it's all at the RH there won't be much outside happening and at the reception it'll be warm with so many people.
