so i've had short hair since 10th grade. i always went for these funky haircuts and i think pull them off fairly well. anyways, i've been trying to grow out my hair for the wedding and HATE it. i just got a haircut yesterday (kept the length) and while the style is nicer and it's better than it was, i'm still not that into it.
so i was coming back home and thinking, why amd i making myself miserable with this stupid hair? long hair isn't me, why do i want to be something that isn't me for my wedding? i'm gonna give it until i go back home on the 22nd, but as of right now i'm gonna cut it. =0P
so now i'm asking for help in finding pretty short hairstyles i can wear. to give you an estimate, the below pic is how i had my hair cut before i started letting grow. i'll probably get it cut somewhere around there, maybe a bit shorter. it was also pretty short in the back (short in the back, longer in the front, that's how i like it). =0P
thanks!

Re: short hair
I have shorter hair then you. I was told from the minute I got enagaged, 'your going to grow out your hair right?' Um, no. I did get extensions to see how i would look, not me...so I cut them out. I will post pics for you from my wedding last nigth to show you what they did. Basically, i had a Thomas Knoell headband made and I wore that with the front pulled back and poofed. The back Jenn (Hair Genie) curled w/ a curling iron, so it actully looked like I had an updo through my veil. I left my veil on all night.

Re: short hair
I'm with you. I've had my hair pretty short consistently since high school, and last year, I started growing it out, just to see what it would look like. It got past my shoulders and finally one day I couldn't take it anymore and walked into my salon without an appointment and was like, 'help me NOW.' I figure, my wedding is supposed to be about ME (and the groom, I guess... a little... ) and I'm not 'me' with long hair. 'Me' is more chin-length. So, whatever, I'll have it the length I like it, maybe put the sides up so it looks fancy-ish, and rock a cute headband all night.

Re: short hair
aight, thanks guys (sorry for the late reply, btw). i'm gonna wait until i go back to ny for winter break (i only trust one person with my hair!) and then chop it. thankfully, she gave me a good enough style so i can last that long, otherwise i'd be taking the scissors to it myself.
long hair is just so much work! i don't know how i did it back then, oh wait, i wore it up ALL the time! =0P
