My fh and I are exactly the same height, and I was wondering if any of you are in my boat...I would like to know what shoes you are wearing and where you got them. I have been on the hunt with no success looking for a pretty shoe that is not a ballet slipper that won't make me tower him.

Re: Short or shorter FH's
My FH is actually just an inch shorter than I am without shoes... I'm wearing a 2.5 inch heel at the wedding anyway. I have beading at the hem of my gown that will drag if I don't.

Re: Short or shorter FH's
His only request is that I wear low shoes. I can't wear heels He never asks me for anything, so I should accomodate his request. Good for you though for wearing what you want.

Re: Short or shorter FH's
There are a ton of bridal shoes tht come in flats..... I think bridalshoes.com and dyeables.com had a bunch.
Would he consider wearing lifts in his shoes to make it a little easier for you to get the shoes you want????

Re: Short or shorter FH's
I got Colorifics, Gabrealle, they are a 1' heel. Sorry I can't post the picture. Here is the link though.
This is totally my situation. My FI is at least 2-3' shorter than me. If you want to see... check out my profile pic. (I love short guys) I will be wearing ballet slippers and he is going to have a slight heel and also lifts in his shoes. I may get a 1' heel if he does both the heel and lifts.

Re: Short or shorter FH's
My FH and I are the exact same height as well. I bought the flowergirl shoes from Nine West they are very pretty and comfortable. I got them at Hazel's in Bayside, but you could probably find them at a number of places.
MY FH is 5'4ish and I'm 5'3. When I wear my wedding shoes we're the same height. It's not that high but I wanted a lil lift so my dress wouldn't be dragging.
