I think we have discussed this before, but I am 5'2' and all the jeans I try are too long on me! I have one Express pair I love, but often the waist is too large in order for it to fit in the butt/thighs...I tried NY&Co. and Tommy ones from Macy's, but they both stretched out as soon as I put them on...

Thanks, I used to get the Abercrombies but their styles are getting more belly-showing....I feel like I am the only person over 20 in there...

Re: Short women, where do you buy your jeans?
I have been buying my jeans from Eddie Bauer and I like them. A) I am about 5, 2 and a half and it’s tough to get jeans B) I don’t like hip huggers (yes, I’m so uncool) I like my jeans at my waist thank you. C) I don’t like my jeans painted on (dude, all I can say is camel toe) D) I don’t like my jeans falling off my butt (way too messy) E) I’m a big hipped woman with a smallish waist (29-waist)
Even the Jeans I have now from Eddie Bauer, which are comfy, fit well at the hip and waist, don’t need to be ‘stretched out’ after washing … well they are SLIGHTLY long. If I’m barefoot it’s annoying, otherwise it’s ok.
I did however, find a great trick! Jim is a slendor man (I think his waist is 31 or 32). One day I accidental put HIS jeans on instead of mine (this happens a lot between us). They FIT!! Lengthwise anyhow. They were just a little roomier at the waist. Otherwise they fit like a CHARM!
I think I may try to go jean shopping in the men’s section. They at least get to choose their jeans by waist AND length, which to me makes a lot more sense than 10 short!

I'm not even 5'1 so there's really no jeans that would fit me. I just buy the regular jeans and get them altered (Bloomingdale's, Saks, Nordstroms and Scoop all have the jeans I wear).

I feel like when I get them altered they don't end at the right part of the leg if they are boot cut. My best friend gave me her sevens that she outgrew, and they were altered, and i feel like the bottom of the leg looks funny.

ooh- Eddie bauer, I'll have to try them. I got a hilfiger petites paor that I love, my problem is that I am short, but heavy. ny & co works form for pants, but not jeans.
I have had luck with calvin Klein, but it is ver hit or miss.
X, for mens, it is hard to find inseams shorter than 30. I am about a 28 I think, but my legs a pretty short for somone who is 5'4'.

Re: Short women, where do you buy your jeans?
I'm 5'4' and I can never find a pair of jeans that fit me correctly in length. I always had to hem my pants. When will these jeans companies realize that most people out there are not 5'10' and 110 pounds! Many times they don't fit me well in the thigh area either. Only Calvins and Paper denim fit well.

Re: Short women, where do you buy your jeans?
My problem is that if I find a pair of comfy jeans that are close to perfect as I can get I MUST buy like three pair IMMEDIATELY! I hate that the ‘style’ and cuts of jeans change so much so often. I had a pair of GREAT Tommy Jeans once, but they wore a small hole up front by the zipper and low so I couldn’t wear them (don’t know what caused that hole as they were only a month old) and when I went to buy another pair…. Couldn’t find ANYTHING like them!!! It’s SO annoying!

Re: Short women, where do you buy your jeans?
That is so true. For a while there were a pair of GAP jeans that fit me perfectly (I also had them in several sizes) and then they all of the sudden were discontinued. Then I had to scramble to find a new company that had jeans that fit me well.

Hope you don't mind me butting in but I am 5'8' and i have the hardest time finding jeans that are my length too. There are usually not down to my ankle and longs I have to wear heals with...it sucks..they should make jeans in heights too.
