Should FH feel offended?

Should FH feel offended?

So Fh has been working at his job for almost a year now. He transferred to another position where he is in another room but still has the same manager. A bunch of new people were hired to replace his old position and a few other people who left so the people working there havent been there as long as he has. One of the new girls mentioned how they all got invites to his manager's wedding. FH never got one. Isnt that kinda rude?? I mean, he doesnt care, and neither do I cause now we dont have to spend money while planning our wedding on someone else's gift. But still...I dont get why she would invite him. Would you be offended?

I would be offended. But like you said, it saves you the money.

That is a little weird. And yes I would be offended even if I didn't want to go.

That seems weird to me. Considering he has been there longer. I would be annoyed, but that's just me. I had an issue with who to invite from work. I work in a small office of 18 people. I love them all except 2. I chose to include everyone on the list because I didn't want to hurt anyone’s feelings.

Its just weird. And he always says how she has an attitude with him for no reason at times. Or he'll try and strike up a convo and she kinda seems stand-offish. Eh, whatever but it kinda bothered him at first and I told him to forget about it.

It's a little odd, considering he's been there for awhile. I would be offended. But now you don't have to invite his manager to your wedding!

Well FH used to work with me...and we were both very close to one manager infact he used to work for him, well FH moved Offices and moved up and we both dont talk to him anymore..........we dont want to invite him but we feel like he will be offended (kinda on the other end of the spectrum)..

i personally would yes feel offended...but you can look at it like this...now he knows how she is and where he stands with her....one less invite to your wedding...and less $ you have to spend on her wedding d

It's a little weird but maybe the invite got lost in the mail? It happened with two of FMIL's friends for our eparty.

He moved offices but she is still his manager and deals with her on a daily basis. If he moved offices and never really spoke to her again I would completely understand. But like everyone is saying, we dont have to get a gift or send her an invite! lol
