Should have BURPED him....
Im working from home today...so while I was on the phone with a client, I was feeding James...I got involved in the call and never stopped to Burp James....so he vomitted all over himself, me, the chair, and my carpet.
I yelled 'CRAP' ...mind you still on the phone with the client. I quickly apolgized to the client and explianed what just happend...being a parent himself he said that he understood...and to call him back after I get everything cleaned up.
So undressed James and put him on a blanket on the floor to play...ran into my bedroom and changed...then ran into his bedroom to get a new outfit for him...put his clothes on him...then starting spraying resolve all over my carpet and chair...(meanwhile James is laughing at me) I decided to throw his laundry in the wash...i didn't want the vomit smell to overtake his room...so i gather all his clothes and went downstairs...turned on the washing machine...and as I was pouring in the detergant i realized that I was using the reg detergant...not the DREFT...so I ran back upstairs to get some of our laundry...dont want to waiste a load....the moral of the story is...I should have BURPED James.![]()
