should i..

put blonde highlights in my hair or no?

since i lost a lot of my tan, and my hair being so dark, it makes me look so sick sometimes and i hate it. i was wondering if i should put some highlights in my hair.. if i do, it's do them chunky and a lot, but leave the underneath my natural color.

what do you think?? if ya got any other opinions please post pics!!

I feel like blond highlights makes you washed out. Not just you, everyone with an olive skin tone and dark hair. I say nay

Blonde highlights will make you look lighter, don't do it! Highlights are so bad anyway....if anything, maybe do a full-color dye, semi-permanent if you want a change, but not one that will take forever to grow out. I'm a fan of reds...go wild!

Thanks girls.. After I posted I started looking at pictures and liked the red highlights.. But I don't think I'm gonna do any at all..

I agree. I do the same thing every winter. I have very dark brown hair, and in the winter I get very fair and look washed out. I have my mom (she's a hair dresser) put some warm colored hi-lights (caramel/auburnish) just in the front on the pieces that frame your face. Mine are thin too so that it doesnt look TOO harsh.
