should I
Re: should I
My sister in law is a speech pathologist. She loves it and makes good money, too. What's also great is that she has 2 young kids, so she schedules clients around her own schedule. I am a teacher too with a Masters in Literacy. I considered going back to school for speech, but truthfully I was overwhelmed with all the requirements. I looked up the program at Brooklyn College, and before you can even be considered for the program, you need 18 (I think) pre-requisite speech credits. For me, I would have to do classes after school and in summer, and it might take me a very long time. I do think it is an interesting field, and if you feel that you should do it, follow your heart! Hmmm, now you have me thinking....lol.
Re: should I
When going for teaching st joes makes you take a minor in something so I decided to take speech communication I liked it so when I grad with my bach in general ed and special ed I also got one in speech communication I took about 3 of the classes I will need to take for my masters in that but I know how much time the practicum is and that is leaning me towards not going back. I work my own schedule now and I love it! I work alot with speech path. so I kinda already know what I will be doing. I dont know....
