Should I be annoyed?

Let me just start by saying that I go out of my way for everyone involved in my wedding. I found the cheapest dress I could, schedule everthing around everyone elses schedule, told my BM's not to do anything fancy for the bachelorette party, I even picked my date around another persons wedding. So one of my BM gets engaged and plans her wedding for 3 months after mine, not a problem at all. Well I get a call yesterday from her sister and they are having her shower 2 weeks before my wedding. I had 2 final appts scheduled for that day and now I have to rearrange everything!! I was really upset because she said they were going to do it 3 weeks before but another BM couldn't make it then bc she is moving. Well what about me??? I don't want to be a bridezilla but Hello?? I have so much to do then! There is nothing I can do now the shower is on...but am I crazy to be a little annoyed?? Her wedding is in July why do we have to have the shower in March???

I can totally understand you being annoyed but I think the best way to handle it is to accept the invitation graciously. Very few people understand how much work there is to do before a wedding so they probably had no clue they were inconviencing you...they may even thought that they were doing you a favor by scheduling the shower before your wedding/honeymoon.

Believe it or not, a whole afternoon completely away from planning your own wedding and celebrating someone elses might be a heavensent respite when the time comes.
