Should I be concerned? (kinda graphic)

Should I be concerned? (kinda graphic)

My FH and I were talking tonight about the bachelor/bachelorette parties. I mentioned that one of my BM's would need to contact his BM to make sure we don't end up at the same place. He responded by informing me that he told his BM not to have any 'girls' there. I asked why, being as I've never had a problem in the past with him going to strip clubs or whatnot. He said 'I've heard about things that go on, not just girls stripping and giving blow jobs, but actually having sex with the guys. I don't want to do that.' I asked 'You would cheat on me?' To which he responded: 'If I got f-ed up and didn't know what I was doing... and I don't want to do that.'
I suppose I should be grateful that he felt he could be honest with me. But I wonder, if all it takes is some drinking and smoking and a girl hitting on him, why would it have to be a stripper? How am I to know he won't do something with just ANY girl, no matter where he goes? Am I being stupid? Please give me some advice...

i dont think you are being stupid.....in all honesty guys on their bachelor party act stupid and more than anything the whole entire time they are getting pressured and amped up by their friends....not to mention that these 'girls' strippers prostitutes whatever they are....can be very pursuasive......is that any reason to cheat? NO WAY! but im sure all of this is in the back of his mind......

my FH has said the same thing to me .. lucky him he is smart enough to not put himself in a situation where he might make a mistake.. tell ur FH to be honest with what he wants for his party and be stern.. i'm doing this with both our parties casue i dont want nacked guys or girls.. not that i dont trust just cause of what u just described.. when ur drunk .. u dont know what u will do

cheating is a choice, and by having the conversation you just had, he's made it clear that is is NOT a choice he plans to make.

The point is not whether or not he would cheat if he got completely trashed and had a hooker climbing all over him - that's a situation where few people could say for sure what they would do - the point is that he has chosen to keep himself out of that situation. By keeping himself out of a situation where he knows he might lose control, he chooses to be faithful to you.

Thank you, I didn't think of it that way.

FH refused a bachelor party his 1st marriage, and he doesn't want one this time either (luckily our best man is gay!)

He has no interest - he never cheated on his ex, even though women hit on him all the time - one time he went to a strip club with his co-workers, and a stripper hit on him - he said - sorry, I'm married - I'm not worried about him, but I think its insane what men about to get married will do at bachelor parties - I hope you have a long talk with your FH and tell him what you are worried about!!!

Good luck!!!

Thank you! I'm not worried about what he's going to do, obviously, since he is refusing any of that stuff. My concern is his reason for refusing, ie b/c he thinks he may lose control and do something he'd regret. Which, now that I think about it, I guess is a GOOD thing, lol!

I dread the day my FH leaves to go to Vegas for his bachelor party. I trust him 100%. Its just in the heat of the moment when there is a skanky whore all over him & his friends are edging him along.. the thought does run through my mind that it is so easy for him to f'up.
I just think of it this way..If he has any intentions on cheating.. he dont have to go to a strip club to do it. These bachelor parties are just a right of passage, although whoever started this rediculous tradition of going to strip clubs needs to be shot in the head.
