Should I be freaking out???

My wedding is on March 19th. I ordered my dress on August 4th. The salon told me it would be in in December and we would be beginning fittings in January. They never called me other than to tell me my bridesmaids' dresses were in (late Dec.). I called on Thurs. and went in on Friday to see what the story was. The dress is somewhere between China and America (factory is in China supposedly). The owner of the salon said the shipment was delayed due to a two week Chinese New Year holiday and that she's tried to get in touch, but the factory isn't returning her faxes, etc.

She said as long as I have three to four weeks to do fittings, it will be fine. My wedding is in six and a half weeks!

Has anyone had a similar situation and what should I/can I do????

I would keep in contact with them daily. I deal with Asia for business - Chinese New Year was ~9 days ago and it is only for 3 days.

I'm sure everything will work out for you!
