I haven't attended any bridal shows. Are they worth going to? What would i see at a bridal show.

I have only been to 1 and I won a whole bunch of stuff. I wish I could go to more but they are alway at the worst time for my life schedule. SOoo worth it.

i love bridal shows, cause it always gives you the opportunity to check out other venues that you might not have seen, raffles and drawings to win cool stuff and ideas that you would have never thought of.

i don't know if it worth it. if you haven't booked anything then you get to see what is out there.
and you get to win prizes if your lucky. but other than that - you can research on your own

I went to my first one last week. I won my videographer and a gift certificate to a bakery. It like a night out :) we drank and ate for FREE and I was able to see my RH in action!

I say, check one out just for the experience. I went to one and it was really crowded but I found a couple of venues that I really liked and will probably book them.I am going to another one soon because the list of vendors are some that I am looking to book as well. Plus you get free stuff!

They're good to go to. You get a chance to see different vendors, win prizes (although I haven't won ANYTHING yet and I've been to quite a few!), and get a feel of different venues.
I must admit though, after you been to more than two, you pretty much see the same vendors over and over again.

I can never go to any, they are always on days I work !! So frustrating, but i'm doing fine booking vendors and getting deals

I love going to them. I won a garter at one, and a $1500 day of beauty at Garren Salon in NYC. And I usually never win anything.

ive been to a few. some are better than others. the worst one was the Grand Bridal Expo at the Marriott Marquis..the line was a 2 hour long wait just to get in by 6:30 pm..and they only handed out cupcakes as samples, maybe free drinks here and there but no free gift bags..etc.
I won 1 thing at a bridal show but it turned out to be a scam (free cookware) but it turned out that we had to listen to some time share speech for several hours and then fill out vouchers to get money toward a trip..it was not really 'winning' anything because you were just getting a discount from those vendor's services.
Other than that, going to 1 or 2 is more than enough. You can get free magazines, postcards and vendor contact info..Just be careful of the crazy spam mail and e-mail you get if you put down your real contact info on those sign up sheets at Bridal Show tables!

Although i never won Anything from the shows, we had a great time going to them!! its llike a night out!! i learned alot from talking to all the vendors as well. you shoul go to as many as you can!!
