should i be paranoid?

my mom's best friend just sent me an invitation to her daughter's suprise 30th birthday party which is 2 weeks after her real birthday.
i think its a ruse and its really my shower- am i nuts and totally obsessed with myself?

i stared at the invite for 20 minutes and came up with these thoughts
1. its at bridgeview yacht club-they live in suffolk so why would they do it there?
2. when she told me about it yesterday i asked her the date, and she looked confused and gave me the wrong date.
3. the RSVP is to 'Mrs. Smith', which is what me and my brothers and freinds call her. who puts that as an rsvp?!
