Should I be planning the RD?

Should I be planning the RD?

Is 7:30pm to late on a Thursday night for the church rehersal to begin and then have dinner? Any suggestions for places in eastern Suffolk are appreciated! TIA! I was thinking Claudios or Danfords, by the way has anyone been to Danfords lately? How was it?

It might be a little late for some people depending on where they are coming from and going home to. My chapel told me to expect to be there for an hour, then give your self time to get to the restaurant etc. You probably won't be getting to the restaurant until 9 and not eating til 9:30

That's what I figured- FH booked the time with the church already. Grrrrr!

its still early, you could probably ask for it to be moved up.

True, I don't think it will be a problem.... but I would like to at least find a decent restaurant out here.

Maybe you can do something before hand instead? Who said the Rehearsal Dinner has to be after?

LOL- I have to FHs family is all in the restaurant/ catering business- food is of the utmost importance- plus they have to know like ten years in advance when they need off!

I'm so excited- I finally have a date twin!!!!!!!

I would def plan it as soon as possible... especially since summer is the extremely busy season for both of those places. Also, are you talking about Claudio's in Greenport???? if so, they have the BEST baked clams i've ever had!!!

how far is either place from your church (where the rehearsal is going to be?) i heard that you should try to keep the rehearsal and RD fairly close if possible. i think i would go with whichever is reasonably closer ... though, like i said, im partial to Cladio's clams

Re: Should I be planning the RD?

I'm just doing a VERY laid back RH Dinner. Everyone is going to my house for heros and stuff. I want a calm night before the craziness begins. Also, half of my bridal party is from OOT so I want to give them a chance to veg out and rest.

I am not sure about the restaurants but FH and I are doing our rehearsal at 7:00. I don't think 7:30 is too late. We tried to do it later so that people would have time to get home from work and come.
