FMIL changes the subject when I ask her about the RD. She has not booked anything yet, I told her yesterday what time we booked the rehearsal for, she just looked at me and started telling about FH's cousins new hampster did not acknowledge what I had just said. Not even an OK!!

Re: Should I be worried?
I'm sorry, but I am new to LIWeddings... can you give me a breakdown of your abbreviations? I assume RD is Rehearsal Dinner. What's FMIL? & FH?
To answer your question, should you be worried that your rehearsal dinner isn't booked yet? It depends. Are you having a big event? If it's something intimate, then I wouldn't worry. If it's a big party, I still wouldn't worry because it's still 4 months away... however, if it's at a specific location that it must be, then I understand the anxiety... what if it's not available?
Ask your FMIL once again, but throw in a 'I know you're busy, and you have your life to lead, but I need to know that this is being taken care of - for peace of mind'. Or something less snotty... lol. You could even offer help, if you're up to it.
Btw, I get married the day after you.

Re: Should I be worried?
When did the two of you book yours? My Aunt (she is acting as mother of the bride ) says that we are going to give her a few more weeks then book something ourselves. It is just one more thing to worry about.

Re: Should I be worried?
We booked ours a few weeks ago after looking and looking... I'm sure you have time but if she is avoiding the question, I think it is time to speak with her about it.
