Should I be worried?

Should I be worried?

I was thinking about past weddings that I've been to, and the centerpieces were always given away. Im renting my centerpieces and I was wondering: Should I put a note or something on the table asking not to take the centerpieces?

I had this same concern too. People told me to have the DJ make an announcement. Also they said that the florist (or whoever the rental items are from) is there at the end of the night to pick them up, and it's usually at the end of the wedding when guests are trying to decide who get's the centerpeice. Also, most centerpieces are not small, so if the hall knows that they are not 'take-home' pieces, they will notice a guest attempting to take one home.

Im also concerned guests might try to take the votive holders that hang off the trees. Should I place a small sign or something next to the centerpiece or something?

Wow Diva, thats a tough one. i would definitely mention the no take home rule. Every wedding I have been to, the guests take them. I just dont have a tactful but obvious way to get that point across.

I had the same problem but my dj assured me he has made this announcement MANY a times and gets the point across in a nice funny way not being nasty or rude. You can also have your parents or whoever spread the word around to anyone you are really worried about..

I wouldn't put a sign near it, I think it might look tacky. Let your DJ say something. I'm sure if you ask him he's probably done this before.

Since your CP is not your typical flower arrangement I would hope that people would have enough sense to know they cant take it home. But just incase I am sure either the DJ will say something or the staff or a family member in the know will stop someone from doing it.
