Should I be worried?

Should I be worried?

Ok, I purchased my gown last July, an Eve of Milady dress and it still has not come in. I called the Bridal Salon where I purchased the dress an asked what the deal was and they informed that the dress came in but it had a mark on it and was sent back to the designer to be corrected and the dress should come back in the last week of March or the first week of April. Now, was this lady just blowing sunshine up my as$ (just an excuse) or should I be worried?

As long as I receive my dress my mid April I should be fine right? I do not know what to do. My plan B is to just go to Estelle's and buy a gown but even then I know it will probably have to be ordered too. Another option (and last resort)would be to go an buy a gown off the rack. This really S@%cks!!

I am not nervous...yet...but I am getting there. Am I making myself crazy over nothing?

You'll be okay. You should be worried if its May or so and haven't gotten that call yet.

That's definitely somewhat comforting. Its just it feels like the wedding is coming up so soon .

I ordered my dress from Bridal Reflections in Carle Place.

I am sure that I would be nervous also, but I think it will be fine and I think you still have plenty of time.

Hello dress twin...My SIL had an eve dress, and she is a designer that just takes her time!!! BR have never had a problem with a dress coming in, it just su** to have to wait so long. I am sure it will be fine. My SIL went through the same thing, and everything was OK

That's good to know! I hear they take their sweet time but you think for how much the dress costs she would move it along quicker.

Thanks for the moral support!

You have plenty of time. My Eve dress came in February, which is 2 months before my wedding. After 3 alterations I'm going to have my final fitting and pick it up April 5th, 2 weeks before my wedding! I wouldn't worry if I were you.

I know it's hard not to stress about these things, but don't worry because you really do have plenty of time. Just make sure you stay on top of the bridal salon and keep checking to make sure your dress is on its way!
