My wedding is two months away (which is crazy to say!) and my dress has not come in yet....I mean, yes I guess it's good to put off the first fitting since I'm trying to lose the extra 5 that I gained during the holidays, but I'm getting a little worried here.

my girly girl is 100% right. Don't panic now - you'll push yourself over the edge too soon....
My first fitting wasn't until less than 1 month away...
My final fitting is: January 15th and the wedding is the 20th.

OK that's good to know. I mean, they did tell me to expect it to come in in January-if I don't get a phone call by February I think I'll go crazy!

Re: Should I be worried??
The only thing that would make me worried, is that god forbid, the dress comes in, and its the wrong color, or wrong style....sometimes this happens because orders are placed wrong....or sometimes gowns come in, and there is a defect on it.
If its so close to your date then you would not have enough time for them to send it back and get you a new one.
I ordered my gown in July and i just spoke to them, its due in first week in February. SO i have 4 months before

Re: Should I be worried??
Don't worry. I had my fitting about 1 month before the wedding date, and they told me I could wait even longer.
However, I would call them to confirm that the dress was ordered and coming. I am waiting for a bolero jacket that I ordered 3 months ago, and I am still waiting for it. I have been down to the store 3 times to confirm that it is DEFINITELY coming in during the middle of January.
Where did you order your dress from?

Re: Should I be worried??
Yeah I'm not sure what the deal is-my dress is from Lillette's. It was ordered in June. Anyway, they were good about the bridesmaid dresses.
