should i be worried?

should i be worried?

I called my dress shop today b/c they had called me to say that my bm dresses are in. I asked when my dress is coming in and they said late February. I originally was told that it was coming in late January. Should I be concerned that the dress is coming in a whole month later than what they told me?

I dont think you need to worry yet. Now in February if they tell you March, THEN I would start to worry.

agree. Late Feb will still be plenty of time for alterations

I wouldn't worry just yet. They usually don't start alterations until 5 or 6 weeks before

I wouldn't worry at all. You still more than plenty of time to get alterations done. When they tell you they give you an estimate based up the average time the designer takes. Sometimes it might take just a little bit longer but its always an estimate when they tell you

Please don't worry, you have other things that need your attention!

i wouldnt worry b/c you do you have time, but i would inquire why its late feb instead of late jan?

Yes, they did give a reason for it being late...they said that there was a delay with the manufacturer of the dress and that they were notified by the manufacturer that it would be late.

I agree that you shouldn't be worried, but I also recommend that you see if you can book a fitting for late March or early April. My dress arrived a month later than orginally anticipated. I still have plenty of time for fittings, but their first available fittign that worked with my schedule wasn't until 2 weeks after my dress came (one month before my wedding).
