So my dress hasn't come in yet and neither have the BM's dresses. I ordered mine the end of November and they ordered the end of February. I don't want to keep nagging my shop, but shouldn't they be in? When do you think i should be concerned?? Thanks.

Probably at this point I would be concerned. I just had my first fitting and I am getting married a week before you.

I guess it depends on the designer of the dress. I have heard that some designers take up to 8 months to ship out your dress. Maybe your designer is one of those. Mine took 5 months to come in.

. . .yeaaaaaaah, I would be concerned. It's almost two months before you get married, and I definitely feel like you should have your dress by now. Call up the shop and remind them (nicely) of your wedding date!

I'd be worried. What do they say when you ask them about the expected delivery date?

they told me 7-8 months for my dress which could put me in July!!! She told me the dress is made overseas in china somewhere and all the beading and crystal work are hand sewn. She seems confident that it will be in on time. i wish i had her confidence!

I would give the bridal shop a call to try and find out when they are expecting the order.

i am the day after you and my dress is not in either!! if i dont get the call soon...like this week im going to start calling them on a daily basis! haha hope it doesnt come to that!

If it makes you feel any better, my dress is not in either and we are getting married August 1st! I'm sure it will come in. I figure there are better things to think about that the dress! I would say not to worry either! But trust me that does not mean that I have not wondered about it as well! Good luck!

I would NOT be concerned.
My bridal shop said my dress (and everyone elses) is ordered to come in 6-8 week before the wedding.

I agree, don't worry just yet. My dress came in just about a month before my wedding, and all worked out beautifully.

I wouldn't worry about the BM dresses as the past couple of weddings that i've known of the dresses haven't come in till about the month b4.. as far as your dress though I would just check with the shop if they could find out the expected date to ship (as they should have that info) i would be worried if they were unable to give u specifics on that

Don't worry!!!! My wedding is in 37 days and my dress just came in last week. I'm sure it will all be fine!

I am getting married the week before you, and my dress is not in yet either. But I call ed the shop and they said I have time, and it will be in, But my BM dresses came in last week. I am not worried about by dress yet...

Well, you dont really have to go for your fittings until at least July, so thats okay, but I would be a little concerened if its not in by the end of the month ... how many times have you called them? I would harass them, I dont care lol
