Should I book at Chateau La Mer of Lombardi's on the Sound?
I am trying to make a decision for my 07 wedding...Chateau La mer or Lombardi's on the sound?
I will be having a sunday wedding with about 100 + people.. Thanks.

Well I'm very partial to Lombardi's on the sound...I had my reception there on 7/29 and everything was amazing...food, staff, view all fabulous...I swear, people are still talking about it and we couldn't have had a more perfect day. I would reccomend it in a heartbeat to anyone who will listen
For the sake of practicality, however, I'll throw in that a lot of girls on here talk about CLM being alot of bang for your buck though...I'm pretty sure LOS is more $ and trust me when I say that we had more than enough food but it was the only place we looked at that didn't offer any 'freebees' (not that we asked or needed them considering what was included but if stretching your dollar is important to you, you may think your $ is better spent elsewhere)

Lombardi's on the Sound. You can't beat the food and it's beautiful views.

You didn't like the food at the CLM tasting the first time. I think you ought to go to Momma Lombardi's and taste the food. Then go to a 2nd tasting at CLM before you make a decision.
You also want to consider that the 2 places are pretty far apart. Which one is closest/more convenient to your guests and the church?
Both are fine places. I think that you may be happy at either one.. but definitely reserve judgement until you taste the food again.

The one thing that stopped me from using LOS is the travel distance for my guests and the distance from the church. It is amazing though-- I am going with Villa.

i would say CLM!!!! i've only heard about amazing things there- i was going to book at lombardi on the sound but it was really too far for us & our guests but i heard its beautiful there.

I would say it depends on where most of your guests live. I live in Port Jeff, so I would rather go to a wedding at Lombardi's on the Sound.

Ok i know alot of brides on here might get mad at me for saying this PLEASE DONT!! but i think CLM is nice but i know of to many people that had things for hs there and what not just didnt seem like a place for a wedding to me even though they yacht is a great idea but EVERYONE is doing it...i want somethin diff from what EVERYONE is doin. SORRY GIRLS!! DONT MEAN TO OFFEND ANYONE!!

I'm also having a sunday wedding with over 100 people (around 185). We're getting married at CLM because they give you SOOOO much for your money. The food is amazing and its beautiful. But to be honest....go with whichever one your heart tells you to. Its not always about the money or practicality -- sometimes you just keep finding yourself thinking about one of them or you get excited everytime someone mentions it or you think about it. We were stuck between CLM and another place and my FH was trying to convince me of the other place because it was closer to home and the price was good. But when it came down to it I realized my heart was just set on CLM and I couldnt imagine my wedding anywhere else. Which place do YOU really want?
