Hi everyone! I've seen such beautiful work from Oksana, and heard lots of great reviews. Should I book her without having a trial? I will do a trial eventually- but I feel like I better book her before she's gone. Is that crazy?

Well from all the fantastic reviews I see on this site about her..I would say if you absolutely have to do it without a trial..then yes..but a trial is always good to do because what may look nice on other girls may not look good on you. IMO

I'm contemplating the same thing....or at least just going to one or two makeup/hair vendors at the most. The prices they are charging for trials is just ridiculous!

Totally!! So then in actuality, you have to budget for makeup trial plus day of!! So crazy!!

Don't do it! Everyone needs a trial!
My mother's story: She got married in '67, and had no hair trial.... her only request was no beehive..... and guess what they gave her the morning of the big day....
Beehive
She paid them, cried all the way home, and quickly redid her hair herself....
I'm using my hairdresser of several years, and am still doing a trial..... mainly becuase of mom!

I'm using my hairdresser since I was about 12! I babysat her kids and she did all my sisters weddings (and did my hair for them too). I was gonna ask her for a trial this weekend- but I guess that's nuts since my wedding isn't til August!!
I dunno though- I don't think I have to worry too much about makeup, do I? I can't imagine her doing a bad job!!

I booked mine without a trial - but my makeup artist did my makeup for two weddings I was in - so we are going to do a trial before the wedding - I just didnt need it to book her.

unless she changed her prices, oksana is only $20 to book her, so in the whole grand scheme of it , if u go with another, whats $20 your losing ,, althouh there is no way she will dissapoint,,

I agree She usually asks for a $20 deposit to hold the date. You won't be disappointed though, she is amazing

i was gonna do that........figured for 20$ take it.....if i loose it then oh well.....but then i ended up goin for a trial w/ JN and loved it so i booked her on the spot!
