So two weeks ago I met with M ia for a makeup trial. I booked her sent my deposit and I am still waiting for a confirmation.
I emailed her and she said she would send it soon...this was last week. Am I being annoying if I call? I don't want to stalk her but I am worried that I am being blown off.
Anyone have similar experience with her?? Help! I don't know what to do!

I sent her a deposit and it took her nearly two months to cash it. I followed up with her about a month after I sent it, citing my concerns, but she responded that she hadn't deposited it yet, but everything was fine and in order.
As long as you have your contract with her (which she emailed to me), then I wouldn't worry too much, but follow up with her, if only for a little nudge.

Ah! See that's what worries me...I don't have the contract yet!!!! How long did it take for you to get the contract?

Is this Mia from BL? I had my trial with her on Saturday and she didn't mention anything about a contract or a deposit!

Yep, she does take a while. She just cashed mine. If you want, just e-mail her or leave a voice message to confirm that she received the check.

Yes I am talking about Mia from *************. I already emailed her but I think I am going to give her the weekend and then call her on Monday.
I just want to make sure everything is in place!!! She will probably think I'm crazy though!

It's blocked because she was trying to promote herself....that's what I've heard.....she's really awesome I think she's just super busy.
Her trial was at a salon in bethpage for me....I think it was $85....I don't remember how much exactly.

I got the airbrush makeup so it was more! But it was worth it!! It felt really nice and it didn't look cakey at alL!

I am using Mia from Bridallounge and I don't have a contract? I had the trial, gave her the deposit and never got a contract. I honestly hadn't thought twice about it though... I have never heard about her cancelling or showing up late or destroying the brides day in any way.
She is pregnant and due pretty soon - you tend to be a little forgetful when you are pregnant...
It is weird that bridallounge doesn't revert to asterisks when I type it... am I spelling it wrong? I think she isn't blocked anymore...

At my trial with her on Sat she told me that she gets hundreds of emails a day and that it is overwhelming for her..She is having her baby march 19 and she has several kids already. I would try to follow up via phon (leave her a message and express your concern and then see from there) I don't think she will blow you off or anything like that..I just think she is very very busy.
And I definitely think she is worth the 'trouble' and $$ JMO!!!
