Should I care that my bachlorette party is on friday and half of my bridemaids just cancelled on me today? the deadline for the rsvp was today
I am really trying not to care, as FH says, they all came to my bridal shower, but it just is getting me down. Also, I think being only 2 weeks from my wedding, i think i am a little more sensitive. What would you girls do? Not care and just be happy with the girls who are coming? or be upset about the girls not coming

I'd be a little annoyed imho. But if they had legit reasons why they couldn't make it, then I'd let it go. Either way, ure gonna have fun so don't let em get u down

Re: Should I care?
I would be a little upset if they didn;t have good enough reasons for not going. It is the summer and a lot is going on. I know that all of my weekends are basically booked thi summer and maybe that is the case with your friends too. Just have fun with the friends who are going and maybe you could get together with the others another night. I am having two b parties--one is in AC and one closer to home. I know that some of my friends won't be able to make it to AC so I wanted to give them a choice.

Re: Should I care?
Exactly , Im not annoyed about the girls with VALID excuses. One just had a baby one and a half months ago and her husband works Friday nights and her parents cant babysit.
and the other has a family emergency in Virginia
but the other two said one has school work to do and is overwelmed for last week of class and the other said she has to be upstate early to open a booth for a craftsfair the next day. Gimme a break, I understand the school b/c FH is in lawschool, and had crazy weekends where he stayed in on Friday nights.... but a booth at a festival? gimme a break

Re: Should I care?
I'd probably be a little taken back, but do they have legitimate reasons why they can't come? Remember that even though half of them aren't coming, that means half of them are, so focus on that half.

I don't know if you should be upset. They came to the shower and the wedding is 2 weeks away. It could be financial for some...maybe?

F*k them and there school work! But there is no reason for you to get aggravated! It's your night! Have fun with the girls that are coming because they love you and are ready to celebrate! Everyone will have their turn one day and be on the other side! Enjoy every minute of Friday!!!

Re: Should I care?
I would be annoyed at the ones with out valid reasons. And school work is NOT a valid reason it's totally bs. This is your b-party and it only happens once!!!!!

Re: Should I care?
Just enjoy it! A lot of my girls can't come to mine and they were at the e-party, shower, etc I can't expect them all to be available to me for everything. IMO the shower is the big one for the girls.
Have fun and let it go.

Re: Should I care?
I would just go and celebrate with those who can. Try not to be annoyed and angry with the ones who aren't coming... I understand to some these parties are IMPORTANT, but to others, they aren't...It sounds like the were there for you and also attended a shower in your honor, so I would let it go... It is summer and some have families and other things they may want to do on a friday night... I am having the opposite problem..I don't want a party like that...I can go out with my friends any time and don't want any 'wild' night..but they are wanting it...Funny, eh? Don't let this ruin your fun time or planning...

Re: Should I care?
It would depend on the reasons they cancelled. Sorry you're going through this.
