I really think I should call, so does my mom... I ordered my dress from the Bridal Suite of Bayshore in March, and they said it would be in 'near the holidays'. I haven't heard from them, and I know the holidays could be closer to Chirstmas... but I still am kinda getting impatient, especially when I hear of so many people getting 'the call' early. Do you think I should call them? Are they able to check on my dress to see where it is in the making?

You are getting married in 9 months, I wouldnt worry about your dress now unless there is a reason you want it. Otherwise, I would call
ETA: Most likely they will just tell you its been ordered and that is it especially since your wedding is far away~HTH

I understand how you feel. My place told me the girls bridesmaids dresses would be in 'around Halloween' and they still havent called!! When my BM called to find out, the lady was kind of rude to her and said 'isnt the wedding in March, what are you so worried about!?'

It wouldnt hurt to call in my opinion, What's the worst they could say, 'No it's not in and it should be here by such and such a date'. Call if it would make you feel better there's no harm.

if it'll give you a piece of mind, then i would call. but don't keep calling every month...they're going to get so rude with you if you keep asking them the same question.

My dress store ordered my dress so that it would come in just 2 - 3 months before my wedding. They certainly didn't want to store it much longer and I wasn't about to get it altered any earlier... so I wouldn't worry. You have 8 months!

I ordered mine in July, and the girl said she will have it come in around June, since the wedding is in August I guess you can call, esp if she said it would be in around the holidays--maybe wait till after the New Year to check on it?

Why not call??? When I was waiting for mine (Macy's Smithhaven) I called for peace of mind....
and I was glad that I did.... it wasn't in then - but they knew my name - and 1 week later.... it arrived :)
