The delivery guy dropped everything off before anyone got there. Should he have stayed around to wait for someone? DH was there at 9, when the flowers SHOULD have been delivered. So the cake didn't get decorated because of this (maitre'd did it). Is this normal for them to just drop the stuff off without someone there to verify that things were right??? what if my bouquet was wrong???

Re: Should i complain to florist??
They should have waited to make sure that you had everything.. What would have happened if things weren't right? But as long as everything was OK, I don't think I'd mind.. everything worked out and it's all over with!

I would complain about it, because I love to gripe. But thinking about it, would it get you anything? If there is nothing gained, nothing lost, I'd let it go. But I would also mention this to the florist and let it be known that I wouldnt use them or recommend them. JMO

maybe i'll just give them a heads up, just to let them know to prevent future problems.
(also, i would have liked to have seen the centerpieces before everyone was in the room already... i would have had them take the babiesbreath out!!! and see that the throwaway was god awful!!!! )

Did you pay them to decorate the cake?? I know I had to pay $100 for the florist to decorate the cake. So if they were supposed to and didn't I would definitely inquire about getting your money back for that.
