I was not going to do a cardbox, but I went on the website again, and they really are gorgeous, and she still has my date open.
To justify the expense - ladies, what did you do with your boxes after the fact? Do you display it in your house? Or will it just gather dust?

Hi! It all depends what details are important to you in what way! I saw their card boxes online, and saw them as a perfect way to add to my unique color scheme. I ordered far in advance, and sent them my swatches right away! I couldn't wait for the weeks before the wedding for it to go into design and production. The designer truly got my vision, and incorporated my gown into one of the layers of the box! It's still sitting in my living room today, 6 weeks later haha, I can't bear to part with it. Eventually, yes, it will just collect dust, but I will keep it for now. I love it and it was worth the money for me! Good luck with your decision! Just for the record, I feel their 2 box price is very reasonable. FM me for any more questions! Here's a pic of my box for you to see.

I ordered a cardbox yesterday..it wasnt from For the Modern Bride but something very similiar to what they make...I was trying to justify the expense yesterday as well.. my mom and FH both told me it was perfect and to get it...so i bought it and now im SO happy and SO excited I did. I CANT wait for it come.
Mine is not customized so after the wedding I might try and sell it.. unless it looks cute somewhere in my house.. then I might just have to keep it!
My mom and her friend made ours. I couldn't justify the expense and so we picke dout material got boxes and did it ourselves...I think it came out just as good (if not better!) and cost well under 50 dollars! This isn't the completed one...we added a couple of extra things to the top but i never got a chance to take a picture!

I really loved the way they looked but couldn't justify spending the money on it. I'm the type of person who doesn't like too much clutter so it would have just went into the closet after the wedding and, eventually, after years of thinking it was taking up valuable storage space, I'd throw it out. I used a birdcage instead that I got online for 13 bucks. But if you love it and don't mind spending the money on it I think they're gorgeous!

i couldnt justify spending the money KNOWING i would throw it away as i dont like clutter in the house.... i made my own, cost me less than 50 bucks and i can toss it when done.... you have a lot of time before your wedding, you may want to try to make your own if you feel DIY....

i got mine from estilio weddings..its really prety and im going to use it to store some wedding keepsakes..think it was 65 bucks
